POLICE and locals will meet up tomorrow for the Northern Villages Community and Police Group at Snainton Village Hall.
The group’s agm will be followed by an ordinary meeting.
It provides an opportunity for consultation between police and the public, includes information on crime statistics and also gives residents the chance to go along and ask questions of the local area police commander, Insp Leo Suret, Safer Neighbourhood’s team sergeant, Tracy Smith and PCSOs Michaela Braidley and Richard Newcombe.
The Northern Villages CAP covers the areas of Derwent Valley (East and West Ayton, Irton, Wykeham, Brompton, Sawdon, Hutton Buscel, Snainton); Lindhead (Burniston and Cloughton); Seamer and Crossgates; Scalby, Hackness and Staintondale.
All residents of those villages are welcome to attend.
The meeting begins at 7.30pm with light refreshments available.
